Fireworks 8 is a simple yet effective program for editing a website with. Fireworks is the designers way of creating websites in Dreamweaver. Fireworks works well with Dreamweaver but also Fireworks is quite a good image editor. For professional image editing however is another thing, if you want to do that I recommend photoshop or the next version of Fireworks(CS3).
