Many people believe that learning comes at a price especially now in the current state of the economy. Well lets forget all that, the most important thing you can do for yourself right now is learn. Allow yourself to become more skillful and have better problem solving skills.

Is it really for me?

I have been doing web sites since I was little and I know that if you don't stay ahead of the game it will leave you with nothing. What good is a web site without good looks functionality and simplicity? simply nothing! Learning web development and design is not easy and that's telling the truth. Don't forget yes I have my web sites and my own traffic but I have been doing this since 2002 and never lost my passion for it. It's like marmight you either hate it or you like it. Never underestimate a web site. It may look simple but just try and make it. Things are never as easy as they seem and don't forget that, rule number one.

Surely it must be easier?

Yes it can be but all I am saying is never give up, all the people that say 'forget it I give up' end up failing at most things. Those words are never to be spoken by you because you know what, it will be easier for you to learn this stuff than it was for me. First off when I started there were not very many video tutorials around and you had to be a bit of a reader to get most things done. Almost every tutorial wasn't free, you always had to pay and some where asking for stupid money for them and some still do to this day. However its time for a change, you should be able to learn new things for free because all the others are just limiting your skills until you pay up. That in my eyes is simply not acceptable and I don't agree at all to those terms.

Forget being a book worm most people hate reading all the time. They hate having to read a load of instructions and finding out that the author has written one wrong. Some people like interaction and having fun, its almost like watching the discovery channel. Its fun, you learn and seeing it all makes things so easy! That's how you will learn faster and better than me. My current skill level is what you will get to in one 3rd of the time I did.
